All the Slade hits and more. Ideal for putting the listener in a good mood. Nothing particularly serious here.
Unfortunately, T 6 on Disc 2, their version of ‘Born to be Wild’ doesn’t do them or the song any particular favours. They are at their best when playing their own original songs. Weirdly T 10, Disc 2 – ‘Myzsterious Mizster Jones’ sounds like ‘Gloria’ by ‘Laura Branigan’ but with different lyrics.
However, overall a good example of the band’s work.
Disc 1 at just over 76 ¼ mins has most of their hits on it from the 70s plus three from the 80s. While Disc 2 at 51 mins has some of their less well-known but still surprisingly good tracks from 1977 to 1991.
