Great affordable camera that works!

My daughter rescued a 2yr old dog from a shelter. She said she was going to worry about him while at work. We bought a bunch of toys, treats and this camera as a welcome gift. My daughter loved the camera. She loves that you can move the camera and talk through the camera through her phone. When she went to work she was able to see what he was doing and make sure he wasn’t upset or barking. A few weeks after...she turned it on a saw him trying to tear blanket and biting cage...she was able to tell him no through the camera and he stopped. It is the best affordable investment. I looked at the cameras that were over $100...I just decided to go with the cheaper one after reading all the great reviews on here. No need to look any further...this is the camera to get.

This is SUPER helpful to ease the fears of coming home at night when the house is dark. I can set the notifications to come on for motion detection {which I generally have off because it's in a common room in our house} so that if we're gone and it picks anything up - I can look.
One thing I will say - is make sure to pick up a mini SD card if you want to be able to go back and look at more than just what is LIVE right now. It holds some screenshots if you take them, right in the app. But you'll either have to get an SD card, or invest in their cloud service.. which I think its an awesome option!
I believe you can add other cameras to the same app {i want to get more for other rooms honestly!}
The night vision works awesome... It does have a little indicator light to show that its on - {the light for during the day or regular lighting you can turn off, but not the night vision light, that i've found}
I love that you can listen in, use it as an intercom... AND move the camera to be able to look at other positions.
It was really easy to set up - it comes with stuff to mount it - but I just have it sitting out. The app instal and the connection were easy to understand and I was done in less than 5 minutes.
All around - I feel like I have the same system my friend has and she has one that was FAR more expensive name brand as a baby monitor. :)
I could see how handy this would be to use if I had a dog, or an infant! But for us- it's just typical ability to monitor what is happening in the house :)
