Bought these as I had drilled the holes too big when putting up my security camera , these did the job of filling the hole , will also allowing me to fit the screw plugs & attach the camera to the wall , really easy to use , just a case of putting the disc in water, wrapping around the screw plug, putting in the hole & waiting to dry after 3 minutes , you can use more than one disc just need to add on a minute extra of drying time, once dry they go really hard like cement, ive used them on harlin walls and they work perfectly.
each time the curtain comes loose in walls with original 30s plaster the screw hole enlarges. Got to the point where the hole was way too big for any plug that would fit the rail. looked around for a new filler as all the others had failed after a year or two. Bought these on the strength of the reviews. Easy to use, you have to wet them so it is a bit messy. Had to use up to 6 per hole, wrap them round the plug and knock it in. Time will tell but so far they are rock solid and was able to get the screws in nice and tight.
Like a numpty I drilled a hole in the wall to big and none of the plugs fitted properly, it was to fit a Dyson power dock Bracket onto the wall. I got this product after reading the reviews and EUREKA it works, no filling required. Literally do as instructed and it works!! Solid fitting. You may have to use a few more discs if the hole is bigger but principle the same. You use the disc wrap it around the plug and shove it in. Wait for it to set. Best little fix ever!!
My flat is plasterboard central and it's been a problem trying to keep anything on the walls. 10 years ago, when I moved in, I put a second towel rail up in the bathroom. Probably over the last year I've been watching one side pull away from the wall and the other side bend. For the last couple of months I've been waiting for the whole lot to hit the deck. Saw this and thought it's worth a try for the price. Oh Wow It Works! It's a bit like putting plaster of paris on a broken limb. Seriously suggest that you have kitchen paper or an old towel to hand as you do get a bit mucky. It's solid on the wall, all 5 towels are back on it within 10 minutes and it's straight for the first time in years. Highly highly recommend.
Never have I been more impressed by a quick fix product. I am not a DIY expert but loathe paying someone if I can attempt to repair it myself. These discs are honestly incredible, fixed 2 towel rails and a shelf in my bathroom where for different reasons the wall plugs had started to come out of the wall. With these little gems it was all repaired in no time. They do exactly as it states in the description. I can’t see how anyone can rate them lower than 5 stars unless they haven’t used them correctly and they really aren’t difficult to use. Brilliant and I will definitely buy them again when I need some more.
Excellent product !,no half-truths,here,these REALLY DO WORK !!!.Drilled into a lintel for a vertical blind's brackets (there's always one "drilling" that isn't o.k.,with these jobs), but got these, just in case, from past experience. So glad I did.Instructions say "3-4 mins.,ready to ....",but i'll leave mine to set, over night, but I think the maker is right,by what is printed on the packet.Whoever thought these things out deserves a knighthood.Absolutely brilliant. If you aren't fully confident in doing a d.i.y. task like this (like me),believe me get some of these FIRST ,on your list, get some even without a job at looming, you never know when you might need these !!!. Saved a lot of time and industrial language. Thank you.
I bought these to repair rawlplugs which had come loose from a blind on the side that you pull to retract the blind. Despite the blind being a bit stuck and having to pull really firmly, these hold the rawlplug in without issue.
I’ve since used them on other fixing and have yet to find one that can’t be fixed with them.
They also blend in brilliantly with white paint so you can’t tell there’s a defect.
Had a blind headrail that one screw hole was just too big/loose, tried the old matchstick trick and because of the angle of it it never work. Left it a few months and then saw this product thought I would try it. Worked great - I used two in the end 1) was put in and then I cut a second disc to fit the hole perfectly and hey presto! It is perfect, stayed up and now I can pull the blinds and it does not pull the headrail down. Very happy with product
I cannot believe I’d never heard of these before. I had a heavy toy storage frame to put on the wall; very right for space so I couldn’t afford to move anything over by even a centimetre..and then 1 of the holes crumbled!😩 Used 2 of these fixers and, to be on the safe side, waited 24 hours before attaching the storage to the wall. A month later it’s still filled with toys and still on the wall nooo issues 💪🏽 More recently used on small hole for a coat hook and used 1 disc, waited 10 mins, worked a treat! Amazing product and cheap too
