What a great novella. Yes, this may be a short story, but really packs a punch. Gives you further insight into the 'Aermian Feuds' world and better understanding of 'what's happening. I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Highly recommend.
I'm debating whether this was actually the authors "gift" for those of us who've been waiting for the 5th book, or just a ploy to make more money. Get ready to spend $3 on a few pages of useless information. The ONLY pertinent information that was gleamed from this waste of money was that Maeve had a dragon and was against her brother by the end. Guess the author couldn't add that in the last book and decided it was worth charging her loyal fans to learn. Not happy at all.
What can I say. I didn't notice that this was just a short story when I purchased it. Story might even be an overstatement.
I had just finished another of the books in the series and jumped straight into this one expecting it to be a real book but it is little more than a sample. I don't think I have been so disappointed in a book in years and to find that it came from an author that I have enjoyed for years just makes it worse.
Do yourself a favour and don't waste you money on this one.
I loved this little insight into her life. I really like her as a character and I just wish this book had been longer. I would have liked to know a little more. But here’s to hoping that we see much more of Maeve in future books.
