Short and sweet. To the point, very informative. I would recommend this book to anyone wanting to learn more about Wim Hof and the science (as it stands) behind his methods. And yes I am using it and seeing and feeling results.

I've been aware of Wim Hof's simple message for some time, discovering a little more about the method and the science behind it is gonna be super helpful for those of you sitting on the fence about the benefits of getting cold and will help those of you already won over to help others understand what you are doing wandering around on. Cold day in t-shirt and boardies!

A great book. The perfect mixture of experience, science and anecdotes. Great information in a simple manner.

Poorly written,
Ebook has passages repeated indicating no editorial review.
I'm sure a Google search on Wim Hof would be more value than this book

Disappointing

This book can be summarised as follows:
Wim Hof can do some amazing things. He learned to do it by cold exposure and breathing techniques. There is scientific evidence to suggest his method may be helpful for a range of medical conditions, particularly ones related to chronic inflammation.
You can do this too by taking a cold shower every day, gradually building up your tolerance to cold. Also breathe evenly for a while then breathe out and hold your breath. If you do this repeatedly, you will be able to hold your breath for longer.
That's pretty much it.
I get the impression this was written to cash in on the increasing popularity or Wim's method. For the record, I think there's something in his method, but this book is a poorly written and contains very superficial information. Wouldn't recommend.

I was disappointed with the lack of detail in how to perform any of Wim's techniques. The book mostly describes the health benefits of the WHM with very thin instructions on how to progress the techniques. Poor!

Great story. Poorly written

Love wim and have been practicing the method for a while now which makes it a real shame that this book is so poorly written.
I felt like I was reading something written by a child. Wim really should have gotten a good ghost writer for this. Pity

Fascinating theories and a cracking story
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 May 2017Verified Purchase
Absolutely fascinating. I'm a real cynic when it comes to health "discoveries" . There are too many instagram "experts" proclaiming the next big thing with little or no scientific facts to support their claims. That said I like to keep an open mind and to at least give each claim I come across a hearing.
I really wasn't sure I was going to believe or get behind the claims in this book....
But....... it rang true..... and there have been genuine scientific studies and evidence backing Wim's claims....
I couldn't stop reading. I tried his methods.... and I really feel there might be something to this. It's a cracking story too......
Really enjoyable read and utterly fascinating..... and ...possibly life changing.

Informative and easy to read.

An easy to read book, providing all the information you need to start using WIm Hofs methods for yourself.
His own background is interesting and unusual, but without that unfettered free spirit, we might never have discovered what he and others would be capable of.
It may just be the book you need, to escape your comfort zone.
Recommended.
