Liz Davidson is CEO and Founder of Financial Finesse, a Los Angeles based firm, providing millions of Americans with access to unbiased financial guidance through workplace financial wellness solutions. This book analyses the financial advisor's industry and gives examples and recommendations on the subject. The author gives the advantages and disadvantages of hiring a financial advisor, which can help you see the whole picture of the subject, the good and the bad side. It also educates you, the client on how to work with your advisor, what to ask and expect from your advisor. This is probably one of the best books on the subject. I absolutely recommend this book to everyone who wants to hire a financial advisor!

I have been retired for eleven years. Having had a few bad experiences with financial advisors, I truly wish I had been able to read this book thirty years ago. This book contains not only great info on advisors - types, what they do, pitfalls, how to pick one. etc., but also lots of other practical financial advice. As another reviewer put it, there's much more here than the title indicates. This book would be a great gift for college grads or newlyweds. Highly recommended.
