I order this for my back yard and with the snow being on the roof I can't hang the solar panel yet but I can out the camera up.I already had a SD card which mad it easy didn't have to buy one also already had cloud edge for my doorbell camera second plus did have to download app again just added camera took about 5 mins after charging it it's sitting on top of my china cabinet right now and it works just as good inside until I can place it up out side the picture is so clear and the motion detector catch every move .I love the fact that I can see but doorbell and back yard on just one click and can go to camera to camera when either one motion gos off or alert without having to g9bto different app wish it could connect to alex but can't win them all will recommend. So easy to install and I have bad eye sight.

Easy setup and use

Out of the box the setup was really easy. The instructions are surprisingly detailed even though the English translation leaves much to be desired. Why not pay a student $100 to do a good translation? Anyhow the documentation was good enough.

My ONLY complaint is that I got two short screws and four long ones instead of three and three. Didn't affect installation

Configuration of the camera is simple if you follow their instructions carefully. You need to install CloudEdge on your phone/tablet. I don't know much about this app, but it seems pretty solid. Once you have everything configured and the software installed you can mount the camera and solar panel. Don't forget to insert a newly formatted SD card first. One nice thing about the app is it tells you the battery level of the camera(s). For solar powered devices this is really nice.

The camera and solar panel mounting is flexible and allows attachment to horizontal or vertical surfaces. The solar panel can be mounted up to 4' away from the camera although you can increase this with a micro USB extender cable. It took me twenty minutes but only because I forgot to install an SD card. You don't have to use the solar panel, any USB power source will work. I do like the idea of my security camera working during a power outage, though. Here in the mountains of SoCal we get quite a lot of outages between the fire risk abatement and rolling blackouts.

The picture and sound quality are excellent. I'm watching the video on my tablet right now in HD and I can see so much and hear dogs and birds. It is possible to run this on a PC with BlueStacks but unfortunately it requires PC settings that conflict with the Android emulator in Visual Studio but it might be an option for you.

I currently have CloudEdge configured to alert my phone whenever it detects movement. It's pretty good at telling the difference between a person walking up to my house and the wind blowing the wind chimes, but I may need to turn the alerts off. You will want to point the camera away from the street if you want to use the motion sensing feature.

Initial impressions are excellent. This is the third WiFi security camera I've bought in the past ten years and the only one that worked without having to call customer support or Google problems. Recommended.

we needed to be able to see our gate at the bottom of our driveway, as we cannot see it from the back door of our house, to know who might be there and to be sure it is closed before we let out our 110 lb. Great Pyrenees escape artist. It is fairly easy to install, and most amazingly, even though it is at least 90 feet away from the xfi cube that is in the house which is in turn is 50 feet from the modem, the video loads onto the phone in three seconds! I had bought a wifi extender that I will not need. I had dreaded going through this for months, and there was no need to fret. adding clients is very easy. Highly recommended

Originally I gave this product a 1 star rating because I had so many issues with the software which was affecting the cameras operations. But to keep this review short I'm just going to tell you that after the company set me the updated version of software (for my Android phone and tablet) everything is working GREAT. And, on that note I am also giving them a 5 star rating for customer service as we had to try several things before we got it worked out. But they were really helpful and stuck with me until the issue was corrected. I have 3 cameras now and all of them are working perfectly. They're super easy to set up and the picture quality in the day or night is excellent. I love the idea that they work on solar power too as I have them on my property attached to trees so they are operating on their own where there is no power. Finally, for the price I am amazed that the cameras do so much. I would highly recommend buying this camera as you won't be disappointed.

I probably browsed through 50 or more different security cameras across multiple shopping platforms before choosing this one. I knew I wanted a wireless camera, a rechargable battery, and free video file storage. This camera met all those specifications and exceeded my expectations. It's a reasonable price for what you get and from comparable products. It was super easy to set up and connect to wifi, the instructions were easy to understand. We mounted it directly to the side of the house, also easy. Then we mounted the solar panel to the edge of the roof and ran the cord behind the gutter to the camera. Everything is great quality and seems to do perfectly fine in the weather. The app is also very easy to use and since I bought an SD card for the camera I don't have to pay for cloud storage. The alerts for motion are amazing and only trigger when a person is in view and doesn't trigger for passing cars or animals. I really love it and hope it lasts a long time and will definitely buy more for my other entryways.

I did alot of research when I was looking to buy these cameras. these had the best internet signal retrieval as per the description. and they were right. The activation procedure is super easy and even has a voice giving you step by step what to do (on the app). The 1080 picture clarity is amazing . Even at night, there's no more black and white. I got rid of the 1st generation ARLO system I had because i kept losing internet signal and battery replacement cost wasn't cheap. If you're looking for a good camera system , this is the way to go. I got the one with the solar panel charger. It's not that big and pretty discreet to mount. All in all, (so far) these have been a really nice investment.

Good camera and software. Great wifi range and easy to set up with app walks you right through process. Motion sensor and couple things adjustable. Mounting system a bit awkward and keeps giving me low battery warning even though battery stays above 70% most time and gets direct sunlight most of day. Only negatives. Accepts memory card. Get motion warnings fast. Only had it for couple weeks so can't speak to longevity but it's been snowed on with winds no problems. I got this to have redundant cameras as I live in woods and am away allot and works great for that! Night camera good also. I have this as wireless option, ADT and Nest cameras hard wired options.

Good price for 2 way comms and a camera

Camera will only drain battery when you connect, unless you set it to pick up motion to alert you but it has yet to have a drained battery and it has been up about 6 weeks. Picture is surprisingly clear but know that there is a slight lag in picture, talking and hearing from the camera to your phone so don't expect to carry on a conversation like talking back and forth as you would during a phone call or with a hard wired camera system, at least for me it is. Pictures from my hard wired system moves fluidly either on a monitor or over my phone from across the city so this was a tad surprising to tell the truth.
Also ensure the wireless signal is fairly strong where you place the camera so a signal booster or repeater near the area you place it in may be necessary, especially if there are a number of concrete block or brick walls between it and the present location of your router.
I am quite satisfied as I only use it for my front doorstep area.
