I bought a second iegeek security camera for the backyard on June 21, 2021. For some reason when I tried to view the camera via the app, it says the device is offline. Try to restart the device from the app but it says "setting failed". I deleted the device to reinstall from the beginning. I pressed the power button, the red light came on, then then went off. No blinking red light. I just emailed the company. Hope to hear back from them.

Update 2/20/2022

The company sent me a replacement camera.

How sad! The camera lasted one month and it was not set for motion detection. When accessed it showed 100% battery charged so the solar seemingly working. Then it died. Will take it down to charge with USB and reset.

Bought this camera 5 months ago. I like the solar panel. The camera notification is not that great. Sometimes it notifies me within a couple seconds and other times it will be 15 to 20 seconds. Sometimes it doesn't notify me at all. Is not consistent. Not happy. Would not buy again. Spend a little more and get a good name brand.

I had this camera working for a couple of days, it was working well, signal to the local wifi only, not the internet. It dropped the signal and did not connect anymore. I lowered the camera to reset it and it does not connect to the network as before. It does connect to a different network but not to the original wifi. I am ordering a wifi extender to strengthen the signal and see if that does the trick. Will continue with this review in a few days.

On the answer's they give to the customer's answers it says that this camara records video footage 7/24 no motion detection needed but that is a lie. Other than that is a good camara, I just hate the fact of not being able to record 7/24 since that was the main reason I purchased this.
