Purchased the Wyze Cam two pack last month but it came with foreign power adapters, no magnetic mounting plates, plus the written instructions and voice assistant were in mandarin. Despite getting it powered by a different means, I could not get it to work at all. The seller advised that it was sold by accident and that the listing had been removed, but it remains up to this day. Please take my advice and do not purchase this. Will try my luck from a different seller or platform.

Bought 4 of these cameras as they support alexa. however you wont find that out until you try and use it. Alexa is only available in the US. had i known this or had it been in the add prior to me buying i would not have bought 4 of them. cant integrate them into my other alexa devices.
Wyze blame it on Amazon for selling the devices internationally.

The companion app is easy to use and pretty easy to set up. It has night vision, motion detect, basically everything you can ask. While there is a significant amount of markup to buy in Australia, it is still a lot cheaper than something from ring, etc. The construction seems pretty solid considering its orignial MSRP of US$20, I have dropped it on to the floor couple times and so far there is no issues what-so-ever.
The reason why I am giving 4 stars rather than 5 is that the amount of markup. How the f*** a USD$20 dollar camera cost AUD$69? That's more than double the price and I am not convinced that shipping cost is the major factor here. Maritime shipping cost less than you think especially for a product that take so little space and weight so little.
If you can wait for 1 or 2 weeks to be delivered from Amazon US, order from there and save some dollars.

Bought these (4) to use with my Echo Show 5's and 8's only to discover they DO NOT WORK here in Australia with Alexa. Wyze DO NOT have a Aus skill for this and do not plan to anytime soon according to their Customer Service whom I contacted. They blamed Amazon Au for the advertising and Amazon AU whom I also contacted blamed Wyze and I do not understand how this advertising is still (9 months later since I purchased) headlined on the Au amazon. Camera is ok, alot dearer here than in US, only grizzle apart from above is the microphone/sound not that fantastic. If ever a wyze skill became available I would set up the other 3...,purchased Ring instead to use with the Echo Shows I purchased which are great but hugely dearer.

Great cheap cam. Does more than you’d expect and quality and reliability is superb.

Love it. Great quality. Great app (which will only get better as it gets more mature). Loads of mounting options. Ordered a second one. I’m using it to monitor my dog. Have also setup automations via iOS Shortcuts W/ Ifttt.
Price is up there comparatively to the US. Australia tax? Otherwise would be 5 stars.

Love this product. Cheaper than almost anything on the market and just as good. The only thing that could give it a run for it’s money is the new sonoff cam.
I wish they’d use Zigbee for the bridge sensors. The bridge does have a fairly limited range despite the claim it can connect up to 100 devices. I live in a 3br house and the bridge struggled to detect the sensor from the front door to the back door.
Other than that they’ve been great!

It's cheap. The quality is great, comparable to my $200 Swann. The audio could be better. But overall, I love it. Would and have, buy again.
Style Name: Single packVerified Purchase
Yeah this camera is pretty awesome. About a month and a half ago, I spent $200AUD on a Swann standalone outdoor wifi camera and have had nothing but problems with it. I ended up buying this (which got from North America to Australia in <5 days, btw... amazing), an outdoor cover and a 32GB sd card and this easily beats the Swann. I love this camera enough that I've ordered another one and I've recommended it to family and friends. While the Swann has "heat sensors" in it, this has people detection. It also has continuous recording (which my Swann doesn't). Being able to slide the timeline back and forth for hours at a time to see what happened, for example - 6 hours ago, is pretty awesome. It also has two-way audio. Someone can be knocking on my front door, and I can communicate with them through the Wyze cam using my phone. I also have the RTSP firmware flashed to allow me to view the feed on my PC, but unfortunately the devs are apparently not keeping that firmware up to date so any new flashy features don't work (like the aforementioned People Detection).

Read User Agreement!!

I never used this product. I unboxed it and then downloaded the app & read the user agreement and absolutely cannot consent to the terms. Please read and understand the clause about subrogation claims BEFORE you use this product. It puts the user at admittedly unlikely, but very real legal and financial jeopardy in the event of the product failing in such a manner that harm is caused- for example the cord catching fire. USER is repsonsible for all legal fees or fines/claims against the product EVEN if the product was at fault! For me, being someone who just lost a home in a fire with a product that is being pursued under subrogation by my insurance company there is NO WAY I would consent to this!!

Good cam, much room for improvements on the software level
Reviewed in Canada on 25 February 2018Style Name: Single packVerified Purchase
Now more than 2 years since the original review. Cams still work ok, software application although constantly updated is still often problematic and limited as far as reliability and motion detection go. Sound from the camera is not very good and often look as if it is muted. Picture is good for the price as well as field of view. The picture of the motion video is somewhat better than what I included here which is a compressed version of the original video. Still no Windows or Web support (Android and iOS native support). MicroSD recording is fine but playback is still a pain.
Recording options:
1) Free 12 seconds motion video to "Wyze" cloud with alerts (notifications). 5 minutes "cool down" period where no recording nor alert takes place.
2) Continuous or motion detection recording to microSD card. No alert nor notification when motion is detected.
3) Paid Monthly Subscription of full length motion detection to the cloud for 14 days (no "cooldown" period), with alerts (notifications).
No recording option to local NAS, SMB, FTP or other cloud services (Google, Dropbox, etc.)
Still a good value for the price.
Added a 12 seconds motion detection video and picture of the Wyze pan cam looking through window in sunny daytime.
UPDATE April 2019.
Added pictures of camera looking through window. One in cloudy day time and another one using night vision with IR led turned off. Note that I am using a separate stand alone IR led lamps outside so this is why the vision is still pretty clear.
UPDATE February 2019.
Good support provided by Wyze for these cameras and those puppies are still going strong despite the fact that both of my cams are being used to look through windows one inside the house the other one outside in my unheated shed.
Also, you can now turn on night vision while turning off the IR led which is very useful for a cam looking through a window. I can see clearly now...as long as I have enough ambient outside light. Which I do, most of the time. All of the below evaluation still valid.
UPDATE May 7, 2018.
I have seen very little updates/enhancements for the Ezviz mini o cam while Wyze Labs is constantly improving their software. Ezviz added motion detection area does not work as of this date. Also, I own 2 Ezviz mini o and only one got the latest firmware update.
The WyzeCam is still suffering from the short 12 seconds motion detection clip every 5 minutes which is the biggest drawback imo. It makes the cam unreliable as a security solution. Also, you can not bypass the cloud recording. If you turn it off and use only the micro sd card, you do not get any motion notifications. Even if cloud storage is free, I wish there was an option to turn off cloud recording and still receive notifications when motion is detected using the mSD card. It's impossible as of this date to record motion clips or pictures to neither a cloud service such as google drive, an ftp server, nas drive, or Windows share. The cam also lack a web interface for either viewing the live stream or changing settings.
The V1 cam records at only 10 fps which can make fast or close moving objects very choppy. The V2 version is somewhat better recording at 15 fps (please note that V1 is not sold anymore and what you will get as of this date is version 2).
However, they did improve the motion detection feature. You can now define a rectangular zone for the motion detection area. Also, both motion/sound detection sensitivity were changed from a Low/Medium/High setting to a 0 (low) - 100 (High) slider which much improves false alerts. You can also use the WyzeCam with the popular Android TinyCam software while I have yet to make the Ezviz work with it.
There were lots of connection issues that have now been fixed.
You can use the cam through a window by turning off the led lights to avoid reflection. However, this also turn off the night mode (black and white) which makes the view extremely dark unless you have good outdoor lights where you aim the cam.
Wyze also has a user forum (Wyzecam.com) where you can get help from other users should you run into problems with your cam(s).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WARNING: upgrading the cam firmware to v 3.9.2.30 could brick your cam. Do it at your own risk. Update May 2018: Wyze now has a procedure where you can fix your firmware cam should it get corrupted. See Wyzecam site.
If I compare the WyzeCam to the Ezviz mini (about the same specs but Ezviz is a little more expensive), I much prefer the Ezviz mainly because of better software and motion detection algorithm.
The picture quality and wide angle are better on the Wyzecam.
Ezviz will record at least 1 minute of footage (sure on sd card if you do not take the non free cloud server option) when motion is detected and there is about no gap between motion detection triggers. WyzeCam records to the cloud a 12 seconds footage, which is much to short, then is 5 minutes without capturing any other motion. This is totally useless as a security option. At least if you had the option of recording the motion notification trigger footage to the sd card, that would be a better option (if longer clips without gap are allowed).
The WyzeCam has only 3 motion sensitivity settings, high, medium and low. Way too many false alarms on medium and high (especially if you place the camera in front of a window to monitor outside) and almost none on the low setting. Ezviz has motion sensitivity settings that range from 0 to 6.
However, the WyzeCam allows you to share (export) the motion detection footage video to virtually any apps installed on your device (such as Google photo) which is much better than Ezviz Youtube and facebook only options. But again, you can only export the 12 seconds footage.
Both cams allow continuous or on motion event recording to the sd card. Wyze will even record sound, smoke and CO alarm events. It is not clear whether sensitivity will affect the recordings of the motion recordings.
Maybe Wyze will improve there software motion detection algorithm, but as it stands as of feb 24, 2018, I much prefer the Ezviz mini as a cam security option, mainly because of the longer, no gap, motion detection recordings and better sensitivity level. None of those two cams will email a picture of the triggered event, which would be a real bonus imo.
Hope this review was helpful.

Très bonne caméra, mais...
Reviewed in Canada on 4 August 2018Style Name: Single packVerified Purchase
Good. I will write a very big comment.
The camera itself is really very very very small. I was very surprised at how small she is. The design is pretty enough, so it does not spoil the view. The sound has a decay of about 3-4 seconds with the video, but in reality, it is not a very big problem. As for the camera, she is great. The picture is actually in 1080p when you choose HD mode. As you can see in the picture, the visibility is perfect (the quality is deteriorating here, it's normal). The night mode is very very very well done. For a camera too expensive, she is great ... It's Wow. We can see very well. However, as soon as there is a little light, she has difficulty. (See the image in black and gray is the night vision) Let's talk about the microphone now. The feature of speaking is ... how to say ... to see again! We can talk, but a disastrous echo is made when we finish talking. It's as if the sound of the microphone and the phone interferes with each other. It's disgusting on that side. On the other hand, we hear quite well, but nothing more. One feature that I like is the microphone. Why? Simply because I like to scare my dogs. Yes I know, I am demonic. A small problem with this camera is the "Sensitivity of detection". Arkk ... I have to put it at 100 so that it does not send me 5 notifications per 10 minutes. But otherwise, disable it, it is useless internally. I also like the fact that we are 14 days of free cloud. It's really nice of them. You can also add a 32GB micro SD card (Recommended at 32 and under, because the camera is designed for the 32GB, but no more). When recording in SD (low quality (720p)), the micro SD will record for 7 consecutive days. In HD, the micro SD will record for 2 days in a row. Be aware that the camera is designed to crush old pictures depending on the mode or record you.
For:
- Excellent value (really kind)
- Fast delivery (Via Intelcom in Quebec)
- Excellent customer service
- Well done application
Against:
- You can not see the camera on a computer (except using Android Emulator)
- The thread is quite short, so have to buy a longer one
- The microphone is missing sometimes
Overall rating: 4.8 / 5
This camera is perfect for those who have a baby or who want to watch their animals during the day and even talk to them (whatever they are going to be more afraid of than anything else). The infrared vision is excellent and the price-quality is perfect. I recommend it

Bon.
- Excellent qualité-prix (Genre vraiment)
- Livraison rapide (Via Intelcom au Québec)
- Excellent service à la clientèle
- Application bien faite
Contre:
Note générale: 4.8/5

Contre:

Great camera for a great price!

I love this WYZE camera! This is the 6th one I have purchased! For the price, you can't do better. I have this camera mounted outside, I purchased the little "house" available here on Amazon, and so far so good! I have a great view of my driveway! I already have two other WYZE cameras outside, one protecting my front door and one protecting the back door, and they work great during the day or night. I have had those outside since Frb and they have survived cold, snow, and rain. I don't use the alerts, so I can't comment on them. I record directly to SD cards. The picture is clear and the app is useful. I also have three Amazon Cloud Cameras too, which I also love, however I have to say, these WYZE cameras have more features, recording to an SD card for one, then the Cloud cameras have. Plus these WYZE cameras are a quarter of the price! I have one camera pointing outside through my living room window. I have to turn off the night vision due to reflection, however i get a great view! I wish I could think of more places I need to monitor, I would buy more WYZE cameras!

Reviewed in Mexico on 24 April 2019Style Name: Single packVerified Purchase
