Bought these (4) to use with my Echo Show 5's and 8's only to discover they DO NOT WORK here in Australia with Alexa. Wyze DO NOT have a Aus skill for this and do not plan to anytime soon according to their Customer Service whom I contacted. They blamed Amazon Au for the advertising and Amazon AU whom I also contacted blamed Wyze and I do not understand how this advertising is still (9 months later since I purchased) headlined on the Au amazon. Camera is ok, alot dearer here than in US, only grizzle apart from above is the microphone/sound not that fantastic. If ever a wyze skill became available I would set up the other 3...,purchased Ring instead to use with the Echo Shows I purchased which are great but hugely dearer.

Pretty great camera.

Yeah this camera is pretty awesome. About a month and a half ago, I spent $200AUD on a Swann standalone outdoor wifi camera and have had nothing but problems with it. I ended up buying this (which got from North America to Australia in <5 days, btw... amazing), an outdoor cover and a 32GB sd card and this easily beats the Swann. I love this camera enough that I've ordered another one and I've recommended it to family and friends. While the Swann has "heat sensors" in it, this has people detection. It also has continuous recording (which my Swann doesn't). Being able to slide the timeline back and forth for hours at a time to see what happened, for example - 6 hours ago, is pretty awesome. It also has two-way audio. Someone can be knocking on my front door, and I can communicate with them through the Wyze cam using my phone. I also have the RTSP firmware flashed to allow me to view the feed on my PC, but unfortunately the devs are apparently not keeping that firmware up to date so any new flashy features don't work (like the aforementioned People Detection).

It's cheap. The quality is great, comparable to my $200 Swann. The audio could be better. But overall, I love it. Would and have, buy again.

Probably the Best Buy. I have five of these now and running for almost a year.

They work awesome and are clearer than my friends cameras.

the 15 sec cloud upload is not bad Being free however note it has a five min cool down for each camera. The person detection is useful however motion can be quite noisy albeit better than nothing.
I have mine pointed outside through windows
They come with a magnetic base so it’s easy to find spots for them. If you do this you can also rotate the image if they are upside down , but you’ll have to turn off the Infrared or it’ll reflect off the window . Some people put IR lights outside to work around this or motion sensor solar lights.

You can also daisy chain them so you can get by with one USB port

There’s also an option to flash them with firmware that supports RTSP but you will lose person detection

This is offset by the fact you can record locally to your own server for 24x7 recording and using the feature of your surveillance system - I use blue iris.

Additionally you can add SD cards to each device to record to that as well

Great all round entry camera and worth it just for basic surveillance

Best budget cameras around

Bought one of these to keep an eye on the dogs while they were in the backyard. Ended up purchasing 12 of them (4 for me, the rest for family and friends). The price point makes them a great alternative to baby cams or standalone indoor cameras. They are definitely not a market leader in terms of features or hardware but for the price you pay, you just can't beat them.

Pro:
- Small footprint
- Individually WiFi enabled
- Uses standard Micro USB (requires a smaller adapter head though)
- Magnetic base (comes with a metal plate which has double sided tape for mounting)
- Local recording on SD card
- Access can be shared to friends and family members
- Works with Google Home/Nest in Australia

Cons:
- App does not allow you to view all cameras at once
- No PC or NVR support (cams can be upgraded with a Beta firmware which allows RSTP features so they can be viewed in NVR if needed)
- Two way speaker quality can be better, sounds muffled
- Not waterproof (will need third party cases to protect them outdoors)

Notes:
- App experience can be better but overall it's usable (reviewing footage can be tedious).

In general, I haven't found any other camera system that comes close in terms of price, build quality and ease of use. I constantly recommend them to friends and family. Can't wait for their Doorbell to be released.

Word of warning, purchase directly from AMAZON US or you will run the risk of receiving a fake product.

USA power plug, but great camera

First off the cameras were packed very nicely and smaller than I expected. During unpacking I noticed the USB power plugs are for USA power outlets. Luckily I have some USA to AUS adapters. The cameras were very easy to setup. I set them both up quickly via the app. Read the instructions as there is a button hidden under the stand that folds nicely on the bottom of the camera almost seamlessly. The cameras are pretty widescreen and pickup a lot. There are many setting even with the free service and motion detection sensitivity is easy to adjust. The only reason i gave it four stars is because of the wrong plug, but its an easy fix. I would definitely buy again.

I grabbed a Wyze Cam to allow me to keep an eye on my dog when I'm out and also for peace of mind for security around my house. But mostly my dog. The app works great, the setup was super simple and the connectivity with other services like IFFT and Google home is really good. About my only issue so far has been that occasionally I can't get the app to connect to the camera when I'm trying to connect remotely, but I suspect this has more to do with my home wifi connection than the camera and app. To fix it most times a simple force close of the app rectifies the issue. Otherwise everything is great. My only other hope is that in the future Wyze offers connectivity with Samsung Smartthings as this would make it a great addition to my smarthome routines but thats more of a "nice to have" rather than an issue.

Excellent affordable camera a must get for anywhere in the world!

Excellent little camera with just the right amount of features needed. The HD picture is great with auto night vision. Fully recommend to get the 2 pack I’m actually ordering 2 more myself! The app works well and also very fast video picture. Excellent camera I’m in Australia and no problem at all!

Great Value for Money but are not Wireless

THESE ARE NOT WIRELESS.

For the price these cameras are great. They have decent quality video and the stream doesn't lag all that much. I have a few higher end cameras with worse lag. Sound quality is also pretty decent. Set up was easy, integrating to google home was easy and quick. These cameras were worth the money and unwound recommend to anybody wanting to set up a couple of internal cameras to safeguard your home.

Great for the price

The camera itself is great and the video quality is decent for the price. The sound can be a bit tricky to clearly hear voices, as they have to be quite close to understand what is being said. Night vision works excellently, and the ability to go back quite a while in recordings is very handy. I tried getting notifications for movement tracking, and that seemed to work fine but with a little delay. The only issue is that it didn't come with an Australian plug, so I had to find an adapter.

These little cameras are fantastic. The chat feature is also great.
I bought two more with housings so I can have one watch the driveway and the backyard. The dog is mischievous! Now there are no secrets!
Easy set up, easy firmware upgrade.
