Does the xloud recording need subscription fee?

the 12 second recording to the cloud(ie 14 days held on your app) does not cost you anything. It is preferable though you get a sd card 32 gb is what wyze recommend, this will enable you to record more, and review events/movements than the 12 seconds by selecting continuous recording.
