If I use this to watch a connected camera, can I leave it on indefinitely?

No. The connection to a Ring camera is unreliable at best, and when it does connect it has a timeout (similar to the app experience)
Would be nice if alerts could show a thumbnail automatically so you could say least see them, but integration isn't a feature
