How waterproof are we talking about? Can I shower with them on? Also will there be a version with a pressable button rather than smart touch?

Dear customer,
TaoTronics BH053 Pro wireless earbud is IPX8 waterproof, you could use them when you shower. To ensure the waterproofness of this product, we designed the smart touch control instead of the button control and almost TWS headphones adopt this design now.
Thanks for your question, we will report it to our R&D department to do some market survey, if there is enough customer's need, we will launch this kind of wireless earbuds with pressable buttons in the future!
