How do I cut the strips to fit around fixtures?

You need to cut the LED strip in between the 2 gold lines where the scissor icon is. You must only cut on that line. If the bend is 90 degrees then you can just curve the led to fit. but if you need a 90 degree sharp bend or an odd shaped bend or crevice, then you need the correct LED connectors that are sold separately. Or if you want to simply join two LED strips, then you can buy direct connectors.
