The switch unit is region free, so yes. The cartridge should work in a US purchased machine. Always make sure, I would take the unit into EB Games or somewhere like that to check or borrow a cartridge from a friend if you can.

Sorry cant answer it is my grandsons game . But it may have a fault in the game if thats the only one that does it .Try a claim on the game

Nintendo games are not region locked. Buying the cartidges from anywhere will work in Australia.
