You seT the high temp to 90 and low temp to 40. That will keep temp in between.

If you have the sensor in or on the tank you want adjusted it should work fine. It only turns the power off to the heater you have plugged into the unit though no cooling function as that’s another unit

It’s not alarm based, it switches power from the heating outlet to the cooling outlet based on the temperature sensed.

No, it’s adjusted manually by the pendant but is essentially just a temperature controlled dual relay for 240v
