Make sure your connection is 2.4ghz and not your 5ghz network. You might have also reached the maximum limit of devices on your router. Alternatively try connecting when the socket is in the same room as the router in case it's a distance issue.

I think you can through the smart life app Which is used to control it but haven’t tried it. Download the Smart life app and have a look

have you downloaded the app if so I went to devices in my Alexa app and on mobile phone and clicked on the more button and when the menu came up I clicked on Add Device and let Alexa find the app and download to Alexa
