The lights will dim after 5 m, but you can link two 5m rolls together with 2 power supplies through the app

Okay so to keep it brief you set up the led strip in the “Magic home app” then you go to the google home app click add device, then choose something already setup and look for “Magic home” then select it and it’ll ask you to login in using your account, once you do that the devices will be found and you can figure the rest out

I believe so. Each strip comes with connectors that help connecting to the next strip.

You can cut the strip into sections however as per a lot of the standard flex they use for these it's every 3 LED's roughly that they implement a connection set so you can cut there and then solder / use connection clips to change direction or add cable length.
