Change the region in your Amazon Prime account to Australia. Sign into your account on the Amazon website and visit -> Manage Your Content and Devices -> Preferences -> Country/Region Settings. You will need a valid Australian address as the Australian TV apps are only available to Australian residents.
If setting the language and region to Australia doesn't fix it, do you have an international VPN configured on your internet gateway? You need to be connected via an Australian IP to see and download those apps, so if you have an international VPN configured on your gateway the local apps will be blocked. See less

No...but you could sideload the app from your android phone, using the apps2fire app.

The apps run on the firestick. The only thing your tv needs is an available HDMI port.

Yes you certainly can. That's how I connect my fire stick because I don't have standard internet connected at home.
