Plugs in securely and importantly all ports are working OK. The audio port supports mic and is loud enough for zoom etc. It's good how this uses a dual USB-C charging and data transmission point despite USB2.0 speed. Wish it was USB3.0 speed but given how so many other similar hubs have their own issues this is a tolerable compromise.
I’m using it for my iPad pro. I bought this to use SD cards and USBs and it works just fine. The only downside of this is that it doesn’t fit with any cover except for the original one with the keyboard. This is known factor before the purchase so it is not the problem for me. With the extension lid works good to me.
(Beyerdynamic DT1770 Pro)

Ever since Apple decided to ditch the audio jack on all its latest iterations of the iPad Pro as well as iPhones. It became a bit of a chore to decide if you were to connect your oldish studio headphones or charge the thing. Fortunately, this is where this hub comes in, measuring at just under 13.5cm long and 7cm wide, it’s not exactly the smallest hub. But, you do have access for an 3.5mm audio jack, USB C port, two different size SD card slots and as well as an HDMI port. Plenty of physical connections even for the most demanding.
Now, this hub works really, everything is seamless and works straight off the bat. And because of the colour scheme (my iPad was silver), it blended in to each other as if, they were made at the sane plant. I really like this hub, as now I can take my iPad on holiday and hook it up to my hotel room via HDMI and play TV or watch tv shows and play the subject matter that I’ve previous paid for from the SD card. So convenient. One word of warning though, this hub is not compatible with the iPad cases, it sort of juts out. So far, the only cases that accommodate this hub is the original cases which includes the keyboard. To be honest. I was already informed of this problem so I was wasn’t fazed, but I can understand why it will irk some. At the time of writing, this hub was certainly not been cheap, but if you factor in the fact that you can also connect it to your MacBook Pro, then it becomes more attractive. .

important....only for USB C devices...if you dont have one, you will have nothing to connect to and this will be a paper weights
well, you are obviously buying this device to give you more options for your computer or to expand the amount of ports on your laptop. Well this does this very simply. Its plug and play and everything works as it should. The houseing is aluminium and so is very robust and it is labled as Rohs compliant so its up to code. My only issue with it is the poiunt wher it connects to a computer. As it isnt using a lead and teh whole housing plugs in it worries my that should it take a hard knock at that point that it might snap or damade my USB C socket...may never happen but it did give me pause when I saw how much flex is there when I plugged it in.
oteh rthan that one possible non-issue I cant see any problems
4.0 out of 5 starsAt least one thing that Apple should have included and some it should have considered.

I bought an iPad Pro for art, simply because nothing else could top it for an all-in-one graphics tablet, when combined with Procreate. I was well aware of the shortcomings that Apple engineer into their products however, such as the lack of expandable memory, no headphone port and the lack of compatability with non-Apple products.
This solves a lot of these problems in one fell swoop. Memory cards are recognized instantly, I can use my old but excellent headphones and I can share my screen easily with my TV or other monitor.
My only criticism is that this is quite a large piece of hardware, particularly with an HDMI cable attached that it could put too much strain on the USB-C port on iPad Pros. Perhaps only use this on a flat, stable surface to prevent damging the port.
