The picture quality is reasonably good at 1080p, similar to other 1080p hardwired cameras I have. The night vision is also quite good, so I'm pleased overall with the image quality. The camera itself appears to be study enough too. However I bought this to add to a ONVIF complaint NVR system - unfortunately it's ONVIF compatibility turns out to be very out dated and is actually too old to use. As such I can't use any motion detection functionality with my existing system. I can however use the App directly to connect to the camera from my phone & tablet, as it should do. The motion detection is proving too sensitive to any change in pixels so lots of false triggers; despite trying to adjust the sensitivity. A camera with thermal detection like the others on my NVR system are much more useful. The app itself is OK, but certainly could be better. The app is relatively intuitive in most areas, although playback is a good example where it should much easier to use.
The Instruction manual isn't particularly useful either, despite the colour images. This was evident when trying to determine where the SD plugs in, as this particular camera wasn't shown in the generic instructions (it covers how to for other GenBolt camera). Anyway, you do this by opening the small compartment underneath where the sound comes from...there's a slot that isn't too obvious in behind it to put the card.
Overall a reasonable camera, but not really ONVIF compliant.
