Have had it for 2 weeks and the whole family is using it daily. I would say the biggest users are my 10 yr old son and myself.
Reason for purchasing was that it was the cheapest VR available and standalone ( they now also have a link cable to play steam games from the pc). I don’t have a ps4 and my PC graphics card needed upgrading to do VR, so this was the perfect fit.
I was a little concerned about reviews of it being too heavy, and on a couple of occasions you can feel it on the face but for me it was about getting the correct adjustment ( particularly the overhead strap).
I was pleasantly surprised to get vadar immortal 1-3. However be warned, like with any console you will be purchasing some games. In 2 weeks I have purchased 4 games adding another 130 AUD to the cost of quest.
But the experience is amazing. From fishing, table tennis, puzzle solving, Sabre beating... they have all been such a blast a completely different experience to regular computer gaming. And no cables makes it really immersive.
