Customer Review

The projector is OK but fairly good quality for the price.

I had heaps of issues connecting it to my phone. The only reason I purchased it was for streaming through my entertainment apps. I purchased the recommended HDMI cable for my phone and it wouldn’t play anything except YouTube.
I soon found out that Netflix, Stan, Disney+ etc have all stopped allowing devices to use airplay or that particular connection to display their image.
I was fairly annoyed by this - does anyone need a HDMI to lightning cord? I’ve got one I don’t need.

I then worked out the best way to use the projector is with Chromecast. If you buy a Chromecast for $45 AUD is plugs straight in and you can stream all of your apps directly to it.

The sound and picture quality is pretty good in a dark room. Very easy to just sit back and watch movies in bed!

If the HDMI cord had worked I’d be much happier but the frustration and extra trip to JBHIFI annoyed me immensely (probably should have just bought a projector from there in the first place).

Conclusion: if you’re looking for a basic projector to watch movies in a dark room, this will work fine for you (providing you’re using a USB stick or buy yourself a Chromecast). If you need something flashy and want HD or don’t have a super dark room.. this isn’t for you.

P.S. the noise in my video is my fan, the projector itself is super quiet.
