The sound quality is alright, they're missing a little bass compared to my neckband bluetooth earbuds of a similar size, but it's alright, given the size and convenience of them.
They utterly fail at being used with a computer for audio though as they don't have that bluetooth non-delay thing (aptX? Well, low latency I guess) so watching video is slightly out of sync with the audio, which is odd as they're bluetooth 5 so figured they'd have it as my older Sony cans do, but I guess it's an optional extra thing, not part of the bluetooth spec.
The medium buds they came with felt a little small, the large buds are a tad painful, my neckband bluetooth headphones have a better fit so might see about swapping the plugs, they also don't have noise cancellation, only isolation (or, if they do have cancellation, not to the point of either the neckband or Sony ones do, as you can instantly tell when you power them on the noise cancellation is in effect, these sound the same switched on or off in the ear).
The buttons are ok for pausing (one tap), I haven't bothered with more than that as it just isn't a great way to deal with something, the unreliable timing for what constitutes a single tap, double tap, triple... I'd rather pull my phone out to change volume or skip tracks. But, walk into a store, pause when speaking to the cashier without having to pull them out, that's handy.
So, they're cheap, but, they work, they look and feel like a premium product (especially the charging pod - though would've preferred USBc on that), but the sound quality is a little off and the latency limits their use. Get what you pay for, given they're pretty much the same price as my TaoTronics Active Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Neckband Wireless Headphones - which I'd definitely say you should get for running as they fit the ear better and are very waterproof (the listing on Amazon says IPX5 but my partner accidentally put them through a wash cycle (apparently my fault for leaving them in the pocket of the running pants I'd left on the bedroom floor and not in the wash basket) and even though they still had about a half charge in them they're working fine still - also they sound better, and the inline remote is more useful).
