If you want a boat that floats, don't buy this boat. It's heavy, turns over sideways with the slightest movement. It's made of very heavy plastic. Too heavy to be buoyant almost. The concept is great but the design needs a lot of work. I believe a toy boat should be able to float well and not sink easily with small children.
