Device gets hot when powered by the supplied USB plug. I bought 2 of these and the camera stopped working on one unit within a matter of minutes. The camera is actually only 720p but the documentation claims 1080p. The app shows 4k and 2k options too but the recorded files are much lower resolution. The device records to .avi files that use H.264 encoding and it does not support H.265. Due to the incorrect specifications listed here and the faulty unit I had to return both devices for a refund.
