I put this behind my monitor. The strip itself is fairly thick and rubbery, so you can't really make sharp angles/bends with it.
I had some issues with mine, specifically it couldn't be reached by the Hue app consistently (making it basically useless since I couldn't change the brightness and color), though Amazon is sorting this out. Hopefully this isn't an inherent problem with the product.
