The keycaps are not fully painted, there is a bit of the keycap that is unpainted... Which is great! It's in just the right place so that the rim of the key (bottom) is illuminated, and it's not a rough painting, it's very distinguished.
They are also on the more low-profile side, and are textured a lilttle more rough than others, giving them a unique feel.
No complaints yet, but some say that the Keycap's paint wears off quickly.
