Easy to connect. I can Bluetooth music from my phone to a Spa music amplifier that only has a 3.5mm input for an MP3 player. The enclosure for the Mp3 player or phone is too small for modern smart phones so this works well. The device can also be used in reverse to transmit music from my old cassette player headphone output to my Bluetooth headphones. I had it plugged in to a USB charger from the mains while using it no problem, no interference. I haven't tried to use it it in a car while charging from a 12V / 5V USB source yet so can't say if there's a earth loop problem there. When the device is in receiving mode to an amplifier my phone gives me the option to connect and send in "High Quality" AAC mode. I don't know if that's low latency or not. My Headphones don't support Aptx so I can't test that direction. Happy with the device, My only issue is its so small I may lose it ! Comes with a very short 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable and an add on adapter to 2 RCA phono plugs
