The noise cancelling is excellent. It has a great fit in the ear canal, a great fit in the outer ear, both of these things block a lot of noise... add in excellent ANC and you have an isolated, immersive experience. So good!
Con: because the ear seal is so complete, hearing your own voice during calls is muffled. If you stick your fingers in your ears and talk, that's the effect.
Great for media, but I wouldn't use them for phone calls.
