The camera is fine on alarm videos but the HiP2P software doesn't seem to function with regard to saving alarm snapshots. This may be a failing in the CamHi app which supports the taking of a snapshot, but doesn't seem to allow that as an alarm option.
Sifting through 30 second alarm videos is an awful lot slower than sifting through snapshots. I emailed tech support some days ago haven't had a reply as yet.
I'm very happy with the hardware but disappointed with the software.
