After trying this device, I got in contact with support about issues with having to unplug and replug my mechanical keyboard (and sometimes mouse).
They sent me a new one to test, but it did the exact same thing.
Support kept suggesting that either I was doing something wrong, or my devices were faulty.
Bought a different usb switch that was cheaper and it works perfectly.
