You charge it, then link it with your phone, then play anywhere you want (It does not need a computer to use it).
It comes pre-installed with a few demos to get you started.
There is a lot of free games in the store.
I also bought a Link Cable and can connect the Quest 2 to my PC to play PC VR games as well.
It works great and the clarity of the screen is awesome!
The controls are super responsive and easy to get used to.
