They are comfortable and definitely improve immersion, in my opinion; being able to let go fully is really nice. I had a go without them again, just to be sure, and I found myself putting them back on in only minutes.
They also help a lot with grip fatigue.
They feel like a high quality silicone, reasonably thick, doesn't cause me to sweat, and easy to wash if needed.
