This tome cites so many studies (in the thousands) that it is hard to imagine that the author is making stuff up. Or if he is he'll be found out in weeks by those who disagree. I've read it and really enjoyed it. I'm working on implementing the advice in the book and so far (2 weeks in) am losing weight at around 1.5 lbs/week quite easily. Highly recommend.
