I read a LOT of reviews before buying these, the general consensus was the sound quality was fantastic with the odd mention of the high end being a little too eager, and not much esle to complain about other than the weight of the battery & button blocks. I can agree the sound quality is fantastic once you EQ the hell out of it, but the high end is far too dominant even after trimming it back with EQ. The bass is very well defined - if you can get the tips to seal properly and stay in your ear - and mids great but need a lot of pushing via EQ.
The tips are my biggest complaint. They just don't stay in your ear. I've tried all of them even though I knew the others would be too large/small. I ended up buying some SpinFit tips which improve the fit a lot, and even trim the dominance of the high end a little.
In hindsight would I buy them again? Probably not.
