This is a very touching and moving story. I love that it showcases the modern racism that is still very prevalent in our world - stopping people from being able to say racism is in the past. It may have a new face/s but it still exists.

It is a YA book and the language suits it. I worry that the language and slang might date this book. Still a must read for everyone.
