I have had this camera for almost 4 months. It had a trial subscription for 3 months and after it's expired it's become pretty much useless. You can only receive notifications on your mobile and you can connect a hard drive to it to record videos if you like, but all the nice things that differentiate Arlo from other cameras have gone. So If you are happy to pay almost a price of one extra camera each year, go for it. Otherwise, don't waste your money. There are lots of cameras out there that provide almost the same features without the extra subscription cost. Last but not least, their customer support is pretty average, so even if you go for cheaper brands you are not going to miss Arlo customer support.
