The book is good and very informative though a bit boring as it lacks Bill Bryson’s wit and genuine writing style. In the audiobook, the author’s voice is not clear enough and not suitable for the narration of this book. It is hard to listen and follow sometimes. I presume that the success of his earlier book, “Short History of Nearly Everything”, might be the reason for triggering this book, but unfortunately the ”Body” is not as interesting as some of his earlier books.
