I have been using this item since receiving it at the end of January. I installed Windows 10 and it ran flawlessly up until April 21.
I switched on the PC in the morning then Windows rebooted halfway through the loading sequence and said it needed to repair drive. When it finally started, I had lost access to my Windows Start button as well as Cortana, Search and Notifications. I naturally thought that Windows had updated & stuffed everything up. However, it just got worse and has now got to the point where Windows 'Can't access the drive'. I reinstalled my old hard drive along side and booted through that. The SSD shows up as NTFS but I still can't access it. I have since plugged it in to a USB adapter to try & access but have come up with the same result. I tried accessing on 2 computers but 'no go'.
I tried contacting Amazon & the supplier about Warranty but because I'd had it for over a month, Amazon couldn't help. The supplier just said to contact Amazon.
I worked out that if I want to send it back for warranty, I have to send it to the USA from Australia using insured and trackable services.
That is another $30 odd.
I have received an RMA from the USA. Now to get to a post office.
So be aware.
I won't be buying another one.
