I ordered two of these to shuck for my media server. After running extensive disk checks one unit was fine, the other had bad sectors so I sent it back. The actual drive inside is a WD80EDAZ, probably used as an Enterprise drive. They run hot and idle around 10 degrees Celsius higher than my WD Reds. These sit at about 32 degrees in my system, other drivers are at 22-24. Under load they will hit 60 degrees Celsius without good airflow so take that into consideration when setting up your system.
For those not shucking the drives I wouldn't bother buying them. Testing them in the case they come in the temperatures were even worse.
Great value for money but it remains to be seen how long it will last for.
