With a 8TB storage capacity, it is ideal for storing HD video files, especially those who watch 4K videos. I am using 2 Seagate 8TB hubs; one for active filing and the other as a full backup. This is far cheaper and simple (to use) than say a NAS unit. I also own a NAS unit but it is expensive to own, operate and maintain, not to mention being technically complex [require some degree of technical knowledge to use it]. This unit also has 2 front USB ports that you can utilise for file transfer and charging devices.
