This book was sucking awesome! I loved how l It was easy to read. There is an awesome story line and great characters with a variety of personalities. It was light and funny. The sex scenes were saucy and I totally did not see that twist coming! Brilliant thank you
Oh my goodness this book had some serious laugh out loud moments throughout it. Drew was unknowingly turned into a vampire after a disastrous tinder date. And as luck would have it she ended up roomies with the 84yr old granny who bit her. And isn’t Bitchy Betty a hoot. And then there’s Diego, the king of all vampires who’s informed of the undocumented fledgling and now has to deal with her. But instead of killing her, he helps her through the transition. At first he hasn’t any idea that she is his fated and of course Drew has no idea. All Diego wants is for Drew to follow the rules of a newly transitioned vampire but Drew has other ideas. And what’s a good fated mates story without a villain plotting something. I really enjoyed this book. It’s definitely a book you want in your “very much enjoyed” collection. Read it you won’t regret it 😀
Well this Sucks is a paranormal rom-com with all the feels!
Drew is a self-empowered woman; she knows what she wants and she is living her best life until she is bitten. Diego is king of the Vampire underworld; he comes a bearing gift basket and a pamphlet on how to be a vampire. Drew and Diego have a pull that is making him look weak to his people; when his position is questioned and loyalties are tested, if he dies, she dies vice versa; can they survive together?
I personally loved this story; I have never really been into paranormal only reading 1 vampire series before but once I started, I couldn’t put it down. The combination of these 2 writers was seamless and I look forward to reading more from them in the future.
Well This Sucks by CoraLee June and Carrie Gray is oh so punny, full of good vibes and tasty treats.
Drew is confident as she’s sure of herself, knows who she is and what she can do for herself. She’s got loads of sass, and more importantly doesn’t care about what anyone else thinks. In some ways, she who many of us would want to be. After one disastrous and pointless (or rather pointy) date, Drew’s life is forever changed.
And then we have Diego, the badass vampire who’s in control, that is until... Drew dances into his life.
You’ll be laughing out loud and fanning yourself from the heat between Drew and Diego, as you sink your fangs into this vampire satire.
Side note: pay attention to the chapter titles, they’re a hoot.
I genuinely laughed out loud at so many points in this book. With moments of darkness, sweetness, hilarity and just damn hotness - this book kind of has it all. Any book that has an elderly lady who is savage gets my vote! If you like Can't Fix Cupid, you will love this. A heroine who is ultra relatable and modern and a hero who is dark, brooding and kind of gothic make this an odd couple, but oh the chemistry! Loved it. Fingers crossed for more similar from these two xx
4.5 Stars!! I freaking loved this book! It was so damn funny and so different. There were so many laugh out loud moments and times when I was thinking "no she didn't!", and it was awesome. If you are a fan of Pippa Grant, you should give this a go as there were times I was thinking that the authors were chanelling her with this quirky humour. BUT, it is a little steamer than most Pippa books. Jeez I hope to God that there are more books planned for these characters.
I found this story well-balanced with a strong woman who owns her sexuality, to be thrown in a vampire world, understanding vamp politics and discovering love all thrown in with sprinkling of love. The book had me laughing along with the lead character. Sexy Vamps, pleasure toys and granny with attitude - things that I never would have imagined together. An enjoyable read that was light and ended with a HEA.
