I purchased 6 of these iPlay Reusable Face Masks
for my child to use in school (because he has a history of asthma and needs 100% cotton mask for better ventilation). The Item Description on Amazon has clearly stated these masks as “100% COTTON”.
All 6 iPlay masks (different colours) I received today have the words “100% POLYESTER” written on both the packaging’s paper insert as well as the tag on the mask itself.
Amazon Customer Service was quick to respond to and granted my request for a full refund after I emailed them directly (after the Amazon automated return system initially rejected my return request outright because masks are deemed non-returnable items for health and safety reasons.)
I believe Amazon should promptly revise the item description for this line of face masks so as not to mislead customers into believing that these are 100% cotton masks. They are not!
