Product description
Babies are just like the rest of us: they're happier when their noses aren't blocked. But cleaning a baby's nose can be a challenge. Aspirator bulbs are okay for wet mucus, but they're just not effective on the sticky or dried mucus (okay, we'll say it) boogers! In fact, bulbs can actually push boogers further in, making it even harder to reach. oogiebear to the rescue! oogiebear is the first booger removal tool that safely and gently removes both sticky and dried boogers from a child's nose. oogiebear was developed with comfort in mind, offering two unique ends, a loop-end perfect for sticky boogers and a patented curved scoop end for safely removing dried boogers. This revolutionary tool is made of soft rubber and firm plastic tips that is easy for a parent to hold and gentle enough for your baby. The bear-head design is both fun and safe preventing the oogiebear from going too far into the baby's nose. It works great for little ears too! The oogiebear makes cleaning baby's nose and ears fun! (Okay, maybe not fun, but it works great!).

It is however, handy to clean boogers out from the little one. Definitely better than those battery operated ones which I regret purchasing for $80 and it is not even that great in sucking snort out!
This item is straight forward and does the job. I am glad it exists because it the past I used cotton buds to clean my bub's nose and it doesn't always catch the booger out whereas the head on this item is concave so it helps alot!
I didn't mind splurging because it is a good product.
It's soft enough and wouldn't cause any harm unless you are poking around and scraping hard. I use the torch to guide me. But, it is really easy to get rid of stubborn boogies.

I thought this device was going to be made with soft silicone tips. I thought it would act like a version of an ear wax curette, but soft and for a baby's nose. The hooks on the ends are HARD and not flexible in the slightest (I've attached pictures to show this). The hooks aren't even smooth. There's no advantage to this product over a Q-tip. It isn't any more maneuverable in a baby's nose and it doesn't give you any more visibility when inside the nose. Both pose the same risks when inserted into the nose. You have to be just as extra careful and gentle with both devices... but at least a Qtip has a softer tip.
I have noted that boogies will cling onto a dry Q-tip A LOT better in comparison to this device. And a wet Q-tip can help soften a hardened booger, then a dry one can grab it. Seriously, save your money. My mother laughed when she saw that I bought this (I couldn't bare to tell her what I spent on it 😣💸). Also, baby tolerates Qtips over this device so much better. There's a lot of baby items out there that are so unecessary, and this is one of them. I hope I at least helped one person decide to save $20 😂🙌🏼 I'm embarrassed I bought into this. If this was something like $5 (like it should be) I would say, "sure, give it a try if you're curious." However, the price they're charging for a small piece of plastic is shameful. The amount of materials this item is made with compared to the price charged to consumers is greed at its finest. If you’re a new parent, be careful of all the baby gimmicks marketed to prey on your inexperience. (Side note: baby nail clippers, electric files, and baby nail scissors all suck. I bought way too many. We use *regular nail scissors* from nail polish isle in make-up section of stores and they are BY FAR superior.
PROTIP: Q-tip makes cotton swabs that are “precision tip” and they work nicely as well.

My baby constantly has boogers in her nose & always sounded like she had a hard time breathing because of it. So, as an “over-worrier” type mom I’ve thoroughly researched & bought just about every booger tool there is - the booger sucker with a tube, the bulb, qtips, etc., you name it! Yes those things would work to some degree, but always with great struggle, fussing, & crying. Just not worth all the time & effort for little results & upsetting my baby.
With the oogiebear I literally did a couple of quick & easy swipes & boom, nose cleared! I couldn’t believe how many boogies came out! My baby didn’t fuss, didn’t cry & to be honest didn’t really even seem to mind. I’m so happy to finally have found something that works! I feel as though I can breathe better myself when my baby can as well haha. Money well spent & mind at ease.
