Product description
Oogiebear - The Safe Baby Nasal Booger and Ear Cleaner
How we got our start:
oogiebear was invented by a mother and registered pharmacist with a doctorate degree after enduring several cold and flu seasons with her three children. She created oogiebear after realizing that there were no other baby booger removers available to help parents get rid of their babies dry, crusty, stubborn boogies.
Why oogiebear:
Dried-up crusty boogers can disrupt babies' regular breathing or interrupt their sleep, and tacky ear wax buildup can cause discomfort. oogiebear allows parents to safely remove them both and restore air flow while simultaneously soothing their baby.
What makes oogiebear unique:
oogiebear is the only two-in-one baby nose and baby ear cleaner available, which makes it a baby gadget must have. The ears on the patented bearhead design act as a safety device so that it never goes in too far or pushes ear wax and mucous further into tiny noses and ears.
Remove boogies like a pro:
- Use the curved scoop end to gently scrape away dry snot or hard ear wax.
- Use the the loop end to pull out sticky mucous.
- Clean, store and reuse again.
Why moms and dads love oogiebear:
oogiebear is an award-winning medical device made of BPA-free and latex-free materials that allows parents to quickly and efficiently clean their infant's tiny nose and ears at home or away without worrying about causing discomfort or pain.
Keep your baby happy and reduce your carbon footprint:
oogiebear is reusable and will as long as your baby needs it. It replaces disposable cotton swabs and wipes and doesn't require saline like conventional nasal aspirators or syringe bulbs.

Cleaning a baby’s nose can be a challenge. Aspirator bulbs are okay for wet mucus, but they’re not effective on… (okay we’ll say it, boogers!) In fact, bulbs can actually push boogers further into the nose, making them even harder to reach. Saline mists can also be effective but who wants to spray a wet mist inside a sleeping baby’s nose in the middle of the night? If your baby is breathing easy and sleeping well… so are you. It is perfect for little ears too! Cleaning a baby’s nose can be a challenge. Aspirator bulbs are okay for wet mucus, but they’re not effective on… (okay we’ll say it, boogers!) So, what happens if the boogers can’t be sucked out? Oogiebear to the rescue! oogiebear has a loop end that is great for sticky and rubbery boogers and a scoop end for safely removing the dried ones. And the bear head design isn’t just cute- it prevents the oogiebear from going too far into a baby’s nose and ears. Oogiebear make cleaning a baby’s nose and ears fun! (Okay, maybe not fun, but it does work great!) |

It is however, handy to clean boogers out from the little one. Definitely better than those battery operated ones which I regret purchasing for $80 and it is not even that great in sucking snort out!
This item is straight forward and does the job. I am glad it exists because it the past I used cotton buds to clean my bub's nose and it doesn't always catch the booger out whereas the head on this item is concave so it helps alot!
I didn't mind splurging because it is a good product.
It's soft enough and wouldn't cause any harm unless you are poking around and scraping hard. I use the torch to guide me. But, it is really easy to get rid of stubborn boogies.
Haven’t had a chance to use the product yet, hoping it lives up to the claims.

I thought this device was going to be made with soft silicone tips. I thought it would act like a version of an ear wax curette, but soft and for a baby's nose. The hooks on the ends are HARD and not flexible in the slightest (I've attached pictures to show this). The hooks aren't even smooth. There's no advantage to this product over a Q-tip. It isn't any more maneuverable in a baby's nose and it doesn't give you any more visibility when inside the nose. Both pose the same risks when inserted into the nose. You have to be just as extra careful and gentle with both devices... but at least a Qtip has a softer tip.
I have noted that boogies will cling onto a dry Q-tip A LOT better in comparison to this device. And a wet Q-tip can help soften a hardened booger, then a dry one can grab it. Seriously, save your money. My mother laughed when she saw that I bought this (I couldn't bare to tell her what I spent on it 😣💸). Also, baby tolerates Qtips over this device so much better. There's a lot of baby items out there that are so unecessary, and this is one of them. I hope I at least helped one person decide to save $20 😂🙌🏼 I'm embarrassed I bought into this. If this was something like $5 (like it should be) I would say, "sure, give it a try if you're curious." However, the price they're charging for a small piece of plastic is shameful. The amount of materials this item is made with compared to the price charged to consumers is greed at its finest. If you’re a new parent, be careful of all the baby gimmicks marketed to prey on your inexperience. (Side note: baby nail clippers, electric files, and baby nail scissors all suck. I bought way too many. We use *regular nail scissors* from nail polish aisle in make-up section of stores and they are BY FAR superior.
PROTIP: Q-tip makes cotton swabs that are “precision tip” and they work nicely for grabbing boogies as well.
***If you buy this and plan to use it in baby’s nose and ears, please be careful about cross contamination that could be concern for increased risk of ear infection. The nose can carry bacteria that shouldn’t make contact with baby’s ear.***

My baby constantly has boogers in her nose & always sounded like she had a hard time breathing because of it. So, as an “over-worrier” type mom I’ve thoroughly researched & bought just about every booger tool there is - the booger sucker with a tube, the bulb, qtips, etc., you name it! Yes those things would work to some degree, but always with great struggle, fussing, & crying. Just not worth all the time & effort for little results & upsetting my baby.
With the oogiebear I literally did a couple of quick & easy swipes & boom, nose cleared! I couldn’t believe how many boogies came out! My baby didn’t fuss, didn’t cry & to be honest didn’t really even seem to mind. I’m so happy to finally have found something that works! I feel as though I can breathe better myself when my baby can as well haha. Money well spent & mind at ease.
