I love Jamie Oliver but I was expecting something different to what I got. I thought "everyday super food" would be just that. I felt too many ingredients, not items you would have in generally . You have to seek out food for a lot of things and also not very family friendly. Having said that the book was presented nicely with good illustrations and well written
I wasn't a fan of this book although I'm a fan of Jamie but this book didn't explain every stage of the cooking process, which meant that you realised you'd missed something after you had moved a few steps ahead. Also some ingredients needed, don't allow those on a bit of a budget to really get the best out of this as I had to go shopping to cook a lot of the dishes.
These recipes don't seem to be tried and tested or at all refined. Love Jamie Oliver's normal recipe books but this misses the mark completely. Go for Green Kitchen Stories recipe book if you want healthy AND tasty food.
Lovely colourful book filled with the usual Jamie adjectives, but filled with nothing new in fact I feel some of it is plagiarised. If not that then just the same old stuff re-worked a la Jamie. Overall disappointed with the content and the recipes don't suit me. Might be ok if you like porridge, eggs, yoghurt, beans, etc. But free styling the food doesn't make poached eggs on toast new and enhanced porridge you can sprinkle on any meal, give me a break. Just buy a cereal bar. The book smacks of commercialism just in time for Xmas, I expected better.
