Photos in book totally weak ink — hard to see. One has to strain the eyes a lot to see well hands, arms, and positions — clear and good photos are essential in a Martial Art book, indeed the responsable thing to do plus the author is not just starting his career in MA. His books are not inexpensive, and yes he is indeed a true MA Master! But we need for him to tell his team to do better in the images of this book! Content as always coming from him is top notch — nothing to do with the quality of the photos. Once again, he does know everything there’s to know about MA! Better photos would have given him 5 ⭐️.
This book is good if want to get the git of Chin Na. Although it is rather in depth. The pics are not that great old black and white and the description of the techniques are not that good. It is hard to tell what is going on in the technique from the pics and description. If you want to learn how to perform Chin Na this is not the book for it. Some martial art books you can learn from but this is not one of them. Eventually I sold the book because the techniques are not great quality. Many of the techniques are not practical at all.
