To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
While there are a lot of blog writing books about there that cover the tech aspect of blog writing, there are very few that concentrate on the actual craft of writing. This book covers sheds a much needed light on this very important aspect of blogging. After all, you can't build an audience with writing that is flat, uninspiring and rife with spelling errors and such. Sarah guides you through all those pitfalls in a style that doesn't sound like you're being talked down to or badgered. Not only does she show you how easy it is to appear like you know what you're doing, but she also offers tips to keep YOU inspired and coming back to your blog as well.
I highly recommend this book!
Better Blog Writing: How to Improve Your Writing to Keep Readers Coming Back for More
"Better Blog Writing" was the book I chose to use while teaching WordPress Level 1 classes for my business. It provides detailed information about the how and why of blogging with none of the "do this to make money" that's in most of the other blogging books. Since I train employees of a local university, talking about making money is a negative. "Better Blog Writing" never touches that issue, it focuses on making you a better writer / blogger. I'd recommend this to everyone.
All I learned was that you could add a plug-in to Wordpress to help users find your blog faster. And then I learned, from Wordpress, that it wasn't even necessary to do that. So this so-called book was pretty useless.
