To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Update: No, I made the recipe as instructed and it was a disaster. What on earth are you thinking Dr. Greger? Eating this food is like a punishment. That is NOT Cheesy Broccoli Soup--it tastes like a mishmosh of odds and ends blended together, like the contents of a school garbage can at the end of the day (minus the dairy and meat)! What a waste of money!
Original: I may have to update this to give it a better review, but I'm giving it "4 stars" for now, because I made the Cheesy Broccoli Soup recipe, BUT without first having strained off and thrown the "Light Vegetable Stock" vegetables out after pureeing (I don't really like the idea of wasting food--also it seemed like a good way of getting more fiber (nutritionfacts.org viewers will understand why this is important)), and it was ghastly. Maybe it's better if you strain off and toss the stock vegetables out (if it is, I plan to update this review).
